Intake
A call, an NDA and everything you can share: references, specs, a prototype, a hardware unit. Edge Audio Labs comes back with the program that fits, the scope in writing, the price and a release date.
From simple plugins or apps to fully integrated AI platforms. Most projects start with a quote. The Launch Programs at Edge Audio Labs start with a price and a date, and both of them are on this page. You ship under your own brand and you keep 100% of every sale.
Your idea, out as a real plugin or app.
One audio behavior, one interface, one platform target.
A store of your own, licensing, a trained model or a second audio behavior. Those move up a program.
For a founder or company with an idea that should exist as a real product.
Your product, your brand, your store.
Everything in Simple Plugin or App, plus
A complete product with its own store and licensing, written down in full before the work starts.
Custom AI, deep integrations with other services, or a line of products sharing one codebase.
For audio brands, hardware companies and startups that want to sell, not only launch.
The stuff that needs an R&D team.
Everything in Flagship Product, plus
Anything that needs architecture of its own: models, integrations, a catalog behind one codebase.
Skyrockets and NASA stuff. For everything else in audio software, ask: this one gets scoped with you.
For companies already selling that want a full lineup, not a single product.
These are fixed-scope programs. Work that needs custom architecture, hardware integration, embedded development or research is quoted individually, the way Edge Audio Labs prices the rest of its work. Edge Audio Labs has shipped enough plugins to know how long each one takes. The only part made from scratch is what your plugin does to the sound.
A fixed price only means something when the scope it covers is written down.

Edge Audio Labs builds. You get a build you can install and use every week, and two rounds of revisions at the points where your feedback still changes the product. Little back and forth: the scope is already written.

Signed installers for macOS and Windows, or a store-ready build for iOS and Android. On the Flagship Product and Custom programs: store live, licensing running, source code handed over.
Dense at intake, quiet while it is being built, one delivery at the end.
Share your idea, under NDA if you want it, and get a plan and a price built around your scope, stack, and schedule. Sounds good, doesn't it?
At Edge Audio Labs, a single-purpose VST3 and AU plugin with your branding and signed installers costs US$ 5,000 through the Simple Plugin or App program. Adding a sales page, a store and a licensing system brings it to US$ 10,000 through the Flagship Product program. Plugin lines with shared infrastructure start at US$ 10,000. Projects that need custom architecture, hardware integration or research are quoted individually.
Edge Audio Labs has been building audio software since 2020, and the parts every plugin needs are already built: the licensing system, the store, the signed installers and the UI component kit. Those get reused on every program, so the only work quoted from scratch is the DSP, which is the part that changes from one client to the next. That is also what makes the release date something Edge Audio Labs can commit to instead of estimate.
The Simple Plugin or App program at Edge Audio Labs takes 4 to 6 weeks, Flagship Product takes 6 to 12 weeks, and Custom AI, Integrations or Platform takes 12 weeks and up. The date is agreed before the project starts, and it is part of the fixed scope rather than an estimate.
Yes. The plugin ships under your brand and you own the product. On the Flagship Product and Custom AI, Integrations or Platform programs, Edge Audio Labs hands over the source code at delivery. Edge Audio Labs does not take a percentage of your sales.
No-code platforms work well when the plugin can be assembled from the audio blocks they provide. Custom DSP, hardware emulation, machine learning models, integration with hardware or custom file formats, and anything that talks to a backend service need code. That is the work Edge Audio Labs does, in C++ and JUCE, with PyTorch and ONNX when there is a model involved.
Edge Audio Labs tells you before the program starts. The intake form exists so the scope is defined in writing, and if the plugin does not fit a fixed scope, Edge Audio Labs quotes it individually instead of selling you a program that will not hold.
Yes. Hardware emulation and machine learning features are part of what Edge Audio Labs builds, in C++ with JUCE and PyTorch. That work rarely fits inside Simple Plugin or App, so it is scoped into Flagship Product or Custom AI, Integrations or Platform, or quoted individually when the modeling work is the core of the project.
